The constrained hazard sets

The board has 4 × 4 cells labelled 1–16 in row order. Choose 3, 4 or 5 hazards before starting. The game samples uniformly from complete hazard sets whose label product and label sum have the same remainder modulo 7. There are 72, 309 or 636 eligible sets, respectively. This is not an independently uniform hazard grid: the printed labels define the constraint, rather than revealing the hidden set.

Stake, hazard count and locked controls

Select a stake of 10, 20, 50 or 100 play coins; the default is 20. The default hazard count is 3. Stake, hazard count, refill and starting another round are locked while the current round is active. Starting captures one stake for the whole board. During the round you can make eligible reveals and, after a safe reveal, collect.

Initialization and manual refill

With no saved wallet, the browser initializes to 1000 play coins. An existing saved balance is retained, including zero. Refill is manual and available only while idle with balance below 10. It sets the balance to exactly 1000, rather than adding 1000, and does not clear fractional carry. There is no automatic refill.

Local storage, fonts and counter

The wallet balance and fractional carry are stored in browser localStorage. The delivered page requests Google Fonts resources, and the builder adds the Statinside 44 visit counter. Account-free play does not establish that no personal data are processed. Server access logs may exist; their contents and retention have not been established by this guide.
