A certainly safe cell with p = 1 leaves V unchanged; a certainly hazardous cell with p = 0 is disabled. A hazard ends the round with zero gross return. The displayed percentage is rounded to one decimal place; the calculation uses the unrounded ratio of compatible-set counts.
Collecting, the cap and automatic banking
You may collect only after at least one safe reveal. Each cell is disabled if its possible safe-result gross value would be greater than 1000 times the captured stake; equality is allowed. The game banks automatically only when no eligible uncertain choice remains. The cap alone is not a rule that every capped state auto-collects. Eligible certainly safe cells do not increase the quoted value.
What the mathematical checks establish
Exhaustive calculations and million-round samples cover the recorded policies that choose one low-safety cell, two high-safety cells or four first-eligible cells, for each hazard count. Their calculated unrounded gross means are 0.97 of the stake, with minor numerical rounding in computation. Simulation results are samples, separate from that calculation. They do not promise a 97% result for a round or session, or establish every possible strategy.
